I am a parent of a Valley Velocity athlete, a former photojournalist and professional photographer for almost twenty years. I initially started this project by taking a few photos for the track club's web site, mostly of my son and a few of his friends. As time progressed and several of the parents asked how they could get prints, I decided to make the photos available to all of the athletes and their families.

Professional quality photos of our young athletes in action is something most parents do not have access to, and I think that should change. To keep the photos available primarily to to their families, the galleries have been password protected, and the password will occasionally change.

To make the photos affordable to everyone the pricing is about half of what is normally billed to commercial clients. In addition, a small donation of all image sales proceeds will be donated to Valley Velocity Track Club to purchase equipment and uniforms.

A few words about requesting prints:

Please keep in mind the shape of the print you are requesting. An 8x10 or 16x20 is more "square-ish" in format than is an 8x12, 4x6 or a 20x30. Many size options are available so please look at the image and request an appropriate format. Although printed images will be very similar to what you might see on screen, all requested are given an additional degree of color correction and are cropped to best fit the requested image size.
